Decided to do something a little different tonight,  I'm sitting here by the fireplace lessoning to the wind howling and watching television. I picked up my journal and a pen and here's what I did...

Most of the dolls that are pictured below I have made for swaps that I host thru a Facebook

group I started called Berry Best Designs Dolls. 

We are a small group but have members in Michigan, Louisiana, California and South Carolina and New York. 

   

 Although the next 3 are not Julie Nutting Dolls, they are Catherine Moore's Character Construction   Paper Dolls.

Quilted Ornaments

For the last couple of years I have wanted to make the quilted ornaments that I've seen on Pinterest around the holidays.  Well I decided This would be the year. Anyway I was taking to my friend Carol Whaley about them and she said she made them several years ago.  That's all it took, we went to Joann's got  lots of fabric, pins and styrofoam balls came back to my house and cut strips from the fabric and started folding and pinning. How is it something that pretty iis really that easy to make. Answer... A really good teacher ... Thanks Carol.
