Happy Halloween

I thought I would show the Witches Hat I altered for Halloween
I used Graphic 45's Halloween in Wonderland Papers

The unique thing about this hat is it's also a photo album
The album is hidden underneath the hat.  You just swing the top to one side to reveal
the album.
To make the album I first traced the bottom of the hat on chip board and card stock
(cut 2 circles of card stock 1 chipboard)  cover the chipboard, with the card stock.  Next, I cut several pages of black card stock to 7" x 7" squares for the album pages.
I used black duck tape to bind the album then glued it down to the base I made. I then punched
a hole in both the base page and the hat brim and attached with a book post. I then attached a heavy magnet to the opposite side to close the book.

Next was the fun part covering the pages with papers, pictures and bling.

I will be adding more pictures on this page after Halloween
of Ava in her Flapper Dress that matches her little sister Maci's.
I hope you enjoyed looking at this fun project, as much as I enjoyed making it.

Halloween Costumes

I finally finished two Flapper Dresses I made
for two sweet little girls for Halloween
Ava and Maci

Ok mom, now they just need feather boa's and pearls

It's been awhile since I have really sat down and sewed anything, it was fun. Now that the
sewing machine is up and out I guess I will tackle a few other projects I have put off doing.....lol.
(I will post a picture of the girls in there dresses after Halloween....check back to see them.)

Just thought I would add the pictures of the girls
in their
Flapper Dresses

Halloween Box

Anyone that knows me, knows how much I love Halloween. So when Captured Moments offered a class to make a Halloween Box, you know who was there....lol.

This class was really fun.We all started with a wooden box that Tiffany painted black, some and halloween trinkets. There were several of us in this class, and not one of our boxes looked alike,
which does not suprise me anymore, because everyone goes in there own direction.  As we worked on our boxes we would see each others  progress and copy the ideas we liked and  shared our ideas with others. I decided to decorate the top of my box also with a haunted house some twigs, pumpkins, a crow and of course the number 31.

Thank you Tiffany from Captured Moments for a awsome class.
